Many potential investors and early-stage companies in Georgia are unfamiliar with the principles of angel investing, which is the most common source of early-stage financing for technology businesses. E2e Works supports the capital needs of technology companies in Georgia by energizing angel investors and connecting them to both investor networks and company opportunities.
During 2008, e2e Works helped conduct four different angel investing training sessions in Georgia, in collaboration with the Kauffman Foundation.
In October 2008, e2e Works will help host the Southeast Angel Network meeting in Savannah. This event will bring together angel investors from throughout the Southeast and expose them to potential deals in Georgia .
In May 2009, e2e Works will host the annual meeting of the international Angel Capital Association, which will attract 400 of the top angel investors from around the world. Through a partnership with the Association, economic developers from throughout Georgia will be able to participate in unique educational opportunities related to angel investing.
