Business incubators can play a vital role in meeting the infrastructure needs of Georgia's rural technology companies. Georgia has at least 18 business incubator programs located outside the metropolitan Atlanta area, most of which do not receive government funding. Georgia is one of the few states in the nation without a statewide incubator association.
E2e Works assists these incubators with benchmarking, professional development opportunities, networking and coordination services designed to help them realize their potential for helping launch and build technology-based businesses in Georgia .
E2e Works leverages the experience of larger university-based incubators such as the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC), Georgia Tech's science and technology incubator. ATDC is the nation’s oldest and most successful university-based incubator, and has been recognized by both Inc. and BusinessWeek as among the nation’s top nonprofit incubators.
