Energy Management -Industrial Assessment Center (IAC)

Are you a small to medium sized manufacturer in SIC Codes 20-39?

You may qualify for a FREE comprehensive energy assessment from The Georgia Tech Industrial Assessment Center.

  • Assessments are provided at no direct cost to you.
  • Experienced Georgia Tech engineering faculty and students from local universities conduct the assessments.
  • You do not have to act on any recommendations.
  • Your proprietary information is protected.

During the typical 1-day on-site visit, students take measurements to audit how the facility uses energy and resources. With the guidance of the faculty, students generate a report identifying opportunities to save energy and reduce waste, and the associated cost savings benefits.

On average, recommendations from an Industrial Assessment Center assessment result in more than 15% savings on utility costs.

The Georgia Tech Industrial Assessment Center is one of 26 centers supported by the U.S. Department of Energy at universities across the country.  Download our brochure.
