Del Boyette, principal, has more than 20 years experience in economic development strategy, incentives negotiation/policy and location analysis. He is a frequent speaker for economic development organizations on topics such as the history of incentives, state and local competitiveness and location analysis. Del has been an instructor for Georgia Tech's Economic Development course each year since 1994, and was the founder of the "Emerging Trends in Location Analysis" conference jointly sponsored by CoreNet Global and Georgia Tech.

Del joined what is now known as Boyette Levy in March 2005 because he has a passion for working with economic development organizations and corporations to help them create new and expanded opportunities. At Boyette Levy he has worked with communities, regions and states to identify targeted business opportunities and develop strategies to ensure their success. He also works with an impressive list of corporate clients who are expanding and seeking new locations.

Before joining Boyette Levy, Del had successfully transitioned from economic development practitioner to the consulting world at KPMG and later at Deloitte. It was at Deloitte that he started the Comprehensive Incentives Management Services practice, which Del led nationally until his departure in March 2005. He has served numerous industries including automotive, bio-medical, consumer products, education, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, retail, software development, technology and telecommunications.

From 1993 to 1997, Del served as Executive Director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission and was a cabinet-level advisor for two governors. From 1997 to 2000, Del was Deputy Commissioner for Economic Development of the Georgia Department of Industry, Trade and Tourism.

Del served on the board of directors of CoreNet Global and on the board and executive committee of the International Development Research Council. He served on the advisory board of the Georgia Intellectual Capital Partnership Program and is past president of the Industrial Developers of Arkansas. He is a former board member of the Southern Economic Development Council, the National Association of State Development Agencies and the Georgia Economic Developers Association.

Among his many accomplishments, Del was selected for Leadership Georgia in 1999, was named the Outstanding Young Arkansan by the Arkansas Junior Chamber of Commerce and has been recognized as one of the top 10 economic developers by Site Selection magazine. He was also on the inaugural list of Arkansas Business "40 under 40" of the state's top business leaders. He is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas and the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute.
