Gray has almost 15 years of experience in both residential and commercial real estate development and management. Prior to joining Southface in 2003, he was Vice President of Retail Properties at Paces Properties, Inc. (developer of Vinings Jubilee, Atlanta 's first "Lifestyle" retail center) and a Project Manager for Design Construction by Craftmaster, a custom home builder in north Atlanta.

Gray has primary responsibility for the EarthCraft Multifamily and EarthCraft communities Programs at Southface which are Green Building Certification Programs and has gained much experience with developers of affordable housing through these programs and through work with Enterprise .

He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he majored in industrial relations and sociology. He lives with his wife, Kim, and two dogs off the square in Marietta.
